Position Summary
The position will help the manufacturing engineering team create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and One Point Lessons (OPL). Will also develop 5S standards for different areas within the production facility.
Essential Functions
- Assist in creating and writing SOP
- Assist in creating and writing OPL
- Create flow charts for different procedures within production lines
- Create 5S standards for different areas within production lines
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Seeking a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Auto CAD
- Good verbal and technical communication skills
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
Education
- Seeking a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
- Technical writing skills preferred
- Computer skills required
- MS Excel (Intermediate or Advance preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- May be required to lift or move product up to 50lbs.
