Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to assure proper functions and duties in inventory control, quality, and safety.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Interprets work orders & pick sheets following written instructions to determine materials or carts to be moved or staged.
• Counts, weights, measures, or examines the packing contents of items for conformance to company specifications.
• Moves materials within the warehouse space to and from trucks and inventory locations.
• Performs daily maintenance and inspection of the forklift and equipment
• Assist in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Loads materials onto carts and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage in transit
• Assists in Daily Inventory Counting and Validation
• Assist in combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space.
• Keeps always assigned work area clean in accordance with 5-S Protocols
• Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Will train to operate equipment used in performing these duties
• Operates a stand-up side loader or standard industrial fork truck to move materials to designated areas. 
• Employee must be able to stand for minimum of eight (8) hours

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Good Computer Skills
• Ability to recognize similarities and difference between profiles
• Ability to add & subtract, multiply, divide.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Be vigilant about safety
• Ability to be Licensed and Operate a Forklift
• Ability to Operate Electronic Devices (Scanners)
