Be prepared. Be honest. Be passionate. Don’t be afraid to ask.

  • Tawana Muhammad

"It is important to remember that “YOU” have been selected for this interview.  This is the time to review your resume and reflect upon how your past experiences and passions align with YKK AP America Inc.  Think of moments in your career that connect your work to our Cycle of Goodness and our Core Values.  Don’t be afraid to share challenges you overcame and the ones you didn’t. Be willing to demonstrate how your challenges and failures have contributed to your overall success and make you the best candidate for the role"

  • Nikki Goodwin

When you show enthusiasm and express interest in the company to the hiring manager, it shows them that you are truly invested in the company. This is your time to “brag” on yourself and show them why you would be the best choice for the company. It is important to show confidence and be friendly so that they can see why you are the best candidate.

  • Sherri Blackledge

"Consider if the company is a fit for you by preparing a set of questions you can ask the hiring manager. Focus on your non-negotiables and be sure they align with your expectations. For example:  How can I bring my skill sets and experience to add value to the company?   How does the company determine employee success?  What processes and procedures yield the best results for the department? What leadership attributes are important? Candidates should always interview their potential employer!"
