Fabrication Technician I – Windows

YSD – Saw Operator

 

1st Shift 

 

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to use various hand tools and machines to cut, fabricate, and assemble architectural aluminum products.

 

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the saw for the YSD area but supports others processes as needed.
  • Supports the fabrication department as needed: assembles and understands quality requirements for each process of cut, prep, assembly and glaze.
  • Comprehends and completes fabrication and assembly on a sequence of operations concerning each window system.
  • Identifies and tags material with written symbol for assembly and inspection
  • Performs all general production work as required.
  • My be required to work off shifts
  • Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds daily

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED (minimum)
  • Must have at least 1 year experience within a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Experience working with hand tools preferred
