Fabrication Technician II – Doors (CNC Operator)
3rd Shift
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
Primary Duty
Operate CNC machine standard hardware preparations and configurations.
Support Duties as Needed:
- Fabricates doors and frames from aluminum extrusions using standard drawings, and hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, saws, etc. as well as milling machines for standard hardware preparations and configurations.
- Designs, fabricates, and installs attachment of special hardware on standard profiles
- Interprets standard bills of material and drawings per job
- Assembles, adjust and welds doors based on order requirements
- Identifies and tags material with written symbol for assembly and inspection
- Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations
- Performs all general production work as required
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- High School diploma/GED (minimum)
- Must have at least 1 year experience operating a CNC machine within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Hand layout table prep (preferred)
- Must have good communication and organizational skills
- Be vigilant about safety
- Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
