Summary:

To manage and coordinate Dublin Manufacturing’s overall service operations and performance regarding order fulfillment to include; but not limited to, delivery control, scheduling lead-time, product lead-time, and material delivery. Also, to manage information flow of all data, results and status of the aforementioned areas.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:  

  • Receives all inquiries from branch personnel regarding all non-technical aspects of open orders.
  • Communicate inquiry results within reasonable established time frame while maintaining 100% professionalism.
  • Processes all change orders.
  • Review change orders with process production planners when necessary and communicate any schedule impacts to the branch as a result of the changes
  • Synchronizes delivery of fabricated product, profile product and parts to shipping based on but not limited to the following matters: longest lead-time item, complete shipment required, partial shipment allowed, item priority receive required, customer special request, etc…
  • Updates Daily branch personnel to the status of all “over target” unscheduled orders, partial shipments, move-ups requests, schedule changes, etc…as required with branch and manufacturing personnel.
  • Maintains all order status information regarding open orders in AS400 system in easily understandable format for branch and customers
  • Performs all listed duties in a manner to support overall Company Service Goals for Delivery Control Index, Scheduling and Product lead-time, and Inquiry response time.
  • Create schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders as well as pre-determined lead-time commitments from Manufacturing
  • Assist in the scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing lead times.
  • Other Duties may be assigned as required to support both OMC and Profile Planning.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be competent with areas of Capacity Planning
  • Must be competent in areas of flow from profile and fabrication.
  • Prepare production reports for graphical analysis by Management on future load capacities and performance.
  • Ability to cross train in multiple aspects within the Department.
  • Associates Degree from College or University plus six months to one year of related experience and/or training is preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
