Summary:
This position is responsible for technology project delivery, including IT infrastructure, application configuration and development, and business application implementation. Responsible for bridging the gap between technology and the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Derives a thorough understanding of project objectives, success factors and goals through the use of sponsor- and stakeholder-interviews as well as the documented project requirements.
- Develops project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively based on the PMI Project Management Principles.
- Manages the adherence and quality of project schedules, scope, and cost.
- Confers with resources and/or their supervisors or managers to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes.
- Participates in requirements gathering and facilitates the creation of work breakdown structures (WBS).
- Possesses a strong understanding of relevant technologies, systems, and processes, enabling them to make informed decisions and guide the project team.
- Compiles and communicates project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
- Leads and motivates project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identifies, assesses, and mitigates potential risks to the project, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
- Ensures that projects meet quality standards and deliver the expected outcomes.
- Identifies and resolves technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Responsible for validating work completed by third parties and confirming receipt of purchased materials and managing project budgets.
- May maintain inventory of equipment, materials, and parts for projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience:
B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 6-8 years of IT and business technology project management experience. Experience should include managing multiple cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
Certificates and Licenses:
Currently certified for PMI project management certifications or similar (PMP preferred).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The travel required for this position is 25%.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
