FABRICATION TECHNICIAN I

3rd Shift 

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to be able to perform the job duties listed below.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Fabricates window frames using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, saws, vertical welders, corner cleaners, double miter saws, etc., as well as milling machines.
• Identifies and tags material with a written symbol for assembly and inspection.
• Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations.
• Fit and assemble components.
• Performs all general production work as required.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Job requires constant lifting in excess of 10 pounds
• Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time
• Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Good math skills
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
• Must have reliable transportation
