Custom – First Shift
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
- The employee must be able to perform job duties for the position based on SOP audit performed by Quality
- Perform quality check on all units and advise Manager / Supervisor and operator of needed changes
- Fabricates doors and frames for vinyl extrusions using hand
- Identifies and tags material with written symbol for assembly and inspection
- Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations
- Fit and assemble components
- Performs all general production work as required
- Additional duties may be assigned.
- The employee must be able to use an electronic scanning device with integrated program.
- Employee must maintain a 90% scan accuracy compared to production output.
- Employee is required to sit for Quality Knowledge and Skill examination.
- Employee in this position will be required to achieve and maintain a score of 75% and higher.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- High School diploma/GED (minimum)
- Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment
- Job requires constant lifting in excess of 50 pounds.
- Employee must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time.
- Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling.
- Must have good communication and organizational skills.
- Must have good math skills.
- Be vigilant about safety
